Croham Hurst School needed a new identity. Like many organisations,
it has a history and reputation to be proud of, but like many
organisations, its market had moved on, while its communications
remained in the past. Our task was to weave tradition and
heritage into a relevant, contemporary identity that reflected
the school’s culture of achievement and community.
The solution came from taking its icon – a dandelion
- and transforming it into a simple identity that represented
junior and senior schools. Each interpretation of the identity
directly reflected the school's values. Some see pupils around
a table, others see the junior school within the senior school,
and others see strength in the community, while some simply
see the schools key icon represented in a clean contemporary
fashion.
